I finally updated the band sites. Pictures have upload and profile notes have been changed. Sometimes I don't know where I get the time because of my hectic schedule. I know my personal sites needs more attention--big time! And I have a ton of things to do that I don't know where to start. Pool projects

BIL's been advertising their swimming pool projects online. My sister and the BIL had a lot of swimming pool project for the last 2 years and we are proud of their team-up. I've visited a handful of sites and I admit, it's amazing to see my sister's creation, hard worked labor come to life. I hope they'll a lot of projects this year and the coming years. They are really a great team. Maybe can make like a above ground pools. That will definitely boost their offers.

Gadget itchy-ness

My laptop's decease had worsen. And having it repaired will cost a lot. The hubby's been trying to a friend to repair it and it's been taking awhile now. I'm beginning to think that maybe I should buy a new one instead? Is it time to replace my 3-yr old lappy? I know it's only been 3-yrs and the lcd led light is not working properly anymore. I know, I feel bad too because this lappy is my life and I cannot afford to loose it. Maybe in a few months, I'll be close to "buying a new one". I visited the mall yesterday and saw good laptop deals there! Waah! It's a sign. But I'm considering getting an itouch as well. Gadget itchy-ness is irritating, don't you think.

New home

My parents have finally settled in their new house. I know a couple days would be tiring because of the things that they need to put away. I know because I've been there. Then my mom put on some patio furniture cushions that matches the curtains. Wow, I can't wait to visit them this weekend.

Creams

My mom's been using wrinkle creams my sister gave her from Dubai. I think it's working for her because I noticed clear lines and spots on her face and she's already 61 years old. I wonder what age am I going to use those wrinkle creams, I hope not anytime soon haha. For now, I'll just stick to my whitening and body lotion.

Best treatment

My sister's been loyal to her dermatologist. She's been constantly attending her facial treatment weekly and we are seeing major improvements. I think she already found the best acne treatment for her. I wish I had the time and money like her. Maybe if we've settled in our new house, I might consider going back to my treatment.

Muscle pain

It's been awhile since I did my usual exercice and yesterday, I finally visited and enrolled in the local gym near our new house. I'm a bit disappointed on their treadmill but the ambiance in the gym is okay. I think I'll get a new program for my work-out and use the stationary bicycle for my cardo. Now I'm feeling the muscle pain and in a few days, joint pain relief should come. It's time to stay fit again.

Eyebugs

In my line of work, sleep sometimes is a luxury because I work on graveyard shifts and sometimes I sleep only 1 or 2 hours only especially if I needed to ran errands in the house. I've been doing this for so many years already that I got used to it. But I can't deny the dark circles that I have around my eyes. Eyebugs. So I keep in mind to sleep more. I read it somewhere that it's good for you.

Treatments

My sister's been loyal to her dermatologist because she stills undergo acne treatments until now. I wish I have the time and the money like her. But I have my medicines and I still use them for maintenance. Only the sudden break outs are a bit frustrating but other than that, I'm still happy with the acne treatment with my doctor.

I was interrupted with noise from a group of individuals here in the office the other day. I looked what their up to and it seems they are trying the new e cigarette that was recently releaed in the market. Maybe they are trying to quit smoking and trying to look for an alternative. Good for them.

Rainy season wear

It's rainy season again. And even though I don't like the rain, there's only one advantage I'm looking forward to--I can wear my favorite sweater and boots again. Rainy season attire is like being in Hong Kong all over again, without the rain of course. I just love the climate there. Not too cold, not too rainy. Just perfect for skirts, coats and boots. Love it.

Business minded

Being an corporate slave isn't bad at all especially if the career ladder in your work place fast. But some would still prefer putting up their own business. I'm truely impressed to those who took the risk and followed their passion. I wish I knew where to start and just manage my own business. Food stall in the mall? or maybe start on business card printing...

new home

We are finally here in our apartment. This is our fourth day and everything looks okay as far as I can tell. We still need a little more tweaking here and there but the important thing is that the little kiddo likes it here. We also plan to put up a mini-office area in the far end of the living and for that we need office furniture. But I think that'll wait for a few more weeks becauase we need to purchase first a dining table.

Hydroxycut or Gym?

We already moved to our new apartment and everybody seemed to like the place. It's kinda hot during the day but I really love the privacy on the third floor and the interior is not that bad. How I wish I have my own treadmill because I'm gaining weight again. My friend told me that there's this gym near our place but I haven't seen it yet. I'm thinking of taking fat burner pills but I'm not sure about

Day sleep

It's still summer because we can still feel the heat especially in the middle of the day. And it's hard to stay asleep in this kind of weather. My job requires shifting schedule and this time, I'm on night shift. It's get very irritated everytime when I wake up because of the heat. Sleeping is one of the important things we need. If don't get enough sleep these next few days, I might take sleep aids to help me sleep during the day.

Breakouts

It's that time of the month again that I get breakouts and I hate it. Breakouts only comes once a month, usually before my period. I'm sure I'm not the only ones who has this problem. I wish they have some kind of acne pills that I can take to reduce breakouts so I would go through the trouble of pricking and applying all kinds of peeling formula on my face at the dermatologist.

Loans

Hubby and I talked last night and we had decided to get a loan. Our big move is in progress and one of our worst fears was we might lack funds. As much as possible, I don't want to think about it but we are just thinking -- just in case. I searched for other ways how to get funds and I found out about asset based lending. I hope this will help us out.

Getting sick is out of the question, what more for those who have decease with no cure like eczema. I heard they now offer eczema treatments because it can be controlled. But there's still no cure for it. Moving on. I know I cannot afford to get sick especially now my family needs me. We are in financial alert because we plan to move to a new home and we're already decided to do it no matter what.

Why not

My sister M approached me last weekend. She asked me weather she'll continue her adult acne treatments. We had this problem ever since high school and even I continue to have breakouts every now and then. She's not decided weather she'll continue with the treatment or just go to an ordinary facial care. Well, it's really up to her. I told her, if she really have the time and the money, why not.

In two months time

My sister told me that the building they've been busy with has finally met the completion date. So in two months times, we'll be able to see and experience their hard worked labor. I can't wait. From my mom's stories, they put up a nice interior on the place and not to mention the nice garden in front. I wonder if they included a pond to go with the garden. job

I'm been sending hubby's resumes to all the opening positions in the office, hopefully he can get a job here. We been buying and providing supplements for our parents because especially my mom. She really needs calcium for her bones. Those days

I miss those days and my mom and I would go shopping every weekends. We would go to the mall, eat, walk and have a facial. Some blackheads treatment are not that expensive. They even put promo packages with firming masks. Those were the days when I was still studying and was fully dependent with my parents. Now I'm working and trying to have that quality time with my kiddo.

LF: new home

I've been wanting to move to a new home and maybe this time, it'll come true. Hubby and I were discussing this and now we're looking for that new home. I'm thinking of getting 2 or three bedrooms, small kitchen, foyer and maybe walk in bathtubs? Maybe not. We want it to simple as possible and nothing fancy. I wish we can move before classes starts.

Online prep

There a lot of ways to prepare for an important examination like sat prep, board exams, bar exams or any certification. Some still enroll for review in a prestigious university but some prefer to stay home and read. Since the Internet has been an important tool for us, maybe I would prefer studying online. It's easier, faster and most of all convenient for me.

Gift for me

I really made up my mind to buy an iTouch as a gift for myself--Christmas and birthday gift. Since I don't have enough money to pay for it, I decided that I would use a credit card instead. I tried applying but I had second thoughts. So I asked my mom if she can give me extension to her credit card. I'm excited because she agreed. Now my credit card processing is on-going. Can't wait to get my hands on my new gadget.

iphone

My sister J sold her iPhone to my sister M and she really looked pleased about it. I haven't really checked that phone yet but I heard it's really good. Being a beginner on these gadgets, I probably will like the phone as well. Now I know what I will get for my sister M's birthday this coming June, you guess it right - iphone accessories.

needs and wants

I've been spending time window shopping, on the Internet that is. I've been weighing my options on my needs and wants. And unfortunately, the term needs are beginning to sound the same as wants tsk tsk. I have a not to quite long list of the things I want err need and I plan to stick with it. I plan to purchase some in 2-3 months time and I'm very excited about it. I'm beginning to check on shipping boxes so I can have them shipped out on the next business day.

new car

I got news last week that BIL's family bought another brand new car. And few days ago, the kid and I get to experience it. It's a brand new white starex. I liked it. It's very spacious and comfy. Perfectly for huge families, like us. And it's also perfect for long drives because you'll never get bored with the lcd monitor. That means, more reason for the kids to behave haha. I wonder how the insurance goes with this type of purchase. Maybe I'll check on western general auto insurance review for me to know.

vacation trip

Ever since our Singapore vacation, my sister has been asking for more trips. I told her that our Disney vacations has to wait til mid this year so we can have more time to save money. And recently she suggested a getaway in Palawan. I got excited on this idea because it's my dream to go back there and finish all the sites that I haven't seen from my trip last year. I told her, this would have to wait too till next month. Since it's summer time already, peak season starts today and everything there would be packed with people. She agreed.

New challenge

I recently applied to another department in our office. I guess I'm starting to grow tired of my work and the urge for another challenge is on. Some say the position requires a lot of experience on CISCO and KVM switches. They even asked for a certification and/or background at least to get in. I admit I don't have certification (yet) but I do have the knowledge and background. Oh I hope I get in.

Real update

Hubby and I took the day off today and did some delayed errands. And we finally brought the digicam to the service center. I hope they'll fix soon. I also plan to get a new player for me and the hubby. It's kinda pricey, but let's see.

Digicam's busted again. It makes me want to shout... ARRRRRGHHH!!!!! Good thing, it's still under warranty... haaay....

moisturized

I asked my sister where she bought the milk and oatmeal body scrub I saw at my parent's house because I like it. I tried it once when I was there and it made skin soft after bath. I think It'll help the chicken skin to go away with regular use. Just like mom, I like moisturizers. And with my mom's age, she uses anti wrinkle cream and my sister abroad never fails to provide for her. I believe moisturizers are important for our skin so don't forget to put one on.

Water fun day

Abs I want

My goal is to loose weight in preparation for this year's summer trips. Recently, I've been successful because of the quick weight loss tips I've been doing with my everyday exercise. I noticed I need to concentrate on my tummy area and this is the part that's very hard to get rid off. I'm okay with my arms and thighs, just the tummy part. I plan to go the the gym but it's looking for a nice gym near our area. I'm so determined to get the abs that I want.

The Death Of John Lennon

At approximately 11PM on December 8th, 1980, famed rock musician John Lennon was walking through the gateway of his living quarters in New York City after spending several hours with his wife, Yoko Ono, mixing a new track entitled: Walking On Thin Ice. As Lennon approached the gate, a gunman stepped out of the shadows nearby and fired five hollow-point bullets at him from a Charter Arms .38 Special revolver. Four of the shots hit Lennon, inflicting severe wounds. Minutes later Lennon was pronounced dead on arrival in the emergency room at Roosevelt Hospital.

The response in America was tremendous. Shortly after networks reported the news, crowds gathered outside of The Dakota, where Lennon lived, and the Roosevelt Hospital, singing Lennon’s songs and burning candles. It got so that wife Yoko Ono had to request that the crowd disperse, as their chanting was keeping her awake. They gathered again in Central Park on the following Sunday for ten minutes of silent prayer; indeed, millions of people around the world responded to Ono’s request for this prayer.

The shooter was Mark David Chapman. Mere hours before the murder, Lennon had autographed a copy of his album Double Fantasy for him, saying afterward: “Is this all you want?” Chapman had only nodded silently. A photograph of the signing was captured by Lennon fan Paul Goresh, and shows Chapman in the background.

To this day, Lennon is mourned throughout the world. In New York City’s Central Park, there is a 2.5 acre landscaped section that goes by the name of Strawberry Fields, dedicated to the memory of the dead musician. It is often covered with flowers, candles in glasses, and other belongings left behind by Lennon fans. Candlelight vigils are often held here not only in memoriam of John Lennon, but other famous musicians, as well as those who were killed in the September 11 attacks on America in 2001.

Superfriends! Reunited

I'm not proud but still I'm going to admit it. I've gone back to smoking again. Sometimes the stress and depression is unbearable that I need an outlet. And I'm sorry to say that it lead me back to my bad habit. Recently, I want to try options products like romeo y julieta cigars but I haven't bought anything yet. I still plan to quit you know. In time, I will.

Cheap car

I've been getting a handful of complains from the hubby about the car. I know the car has a few defects but what can I say? It's an old school car and quite normal for it show a few ups and downs for time to time. But I'm complaining because at least we have a car right? And it's all that we can afford. The hubby is still not satisfied and he's been browsing cheap car insurance.

Gift for him

I always find it hard to get a gift for men, especially for my dad or the FIL. First thing that usually comes in my mind are mens ties. I know it’s a lousy gift but I really can’t think of anything. So what I did last Christmas, I bought each of them edible goods, like cake or a wine. That seems fair, I think. hehe.

Insurance

I've tried to compare life insurance on the Internet because my friend advised me because getting one. And she's right. It help me a lot on what benefits I can get versus the amount I need to pay Insurance is important nowadays because we can never tell. It's better to get protection for my family rather than regret it in the end.

Pink bathroom

It's been a year since we had our bathroom renovated. The MIL wanted a different look and now the bathroom is pink because of the little kiddo. New sink and a Toto toilet are now installed. I must say, the bathroom looks girly and fresh. I wish it had more room for the mirror and other accessories.

I wish all the convenient stores here have barcode scanner. Some still using the manual method and it really slows down the business and not to mention the long irritating lines on the counter. But still you wait because there's no other store available nearby. Sounds familiar? hehehe. Yes, we all have our share of miserable moments. One word.. upgrade.

MMA @ Gig studio

MMA @ Gig studio this afternoon. It was a blast! Fun chats and great music as always. We need to do this more often.

Wii

The last time we went at my SIL's house, we were busy playing wii. Especially the little kiddo who already tried all the games they have on file, like racing cars, tennis, golf, drums and many more. But she told me that she loved playing golf but the SIL find it boring hehe. I prefer playing the tennis since I know the game and I miss playing it. We might visit them again so we can play more.

First priority

I never thought I would be checking on life insurance quotes online until I had a family of my own. All I can think of was how to get my family safe and protected. Especially now that the little kiddo is not so little anymore. She's now 4 years old and already attending school on junior nursery level. She's quite taller for her age and never fails to ask a million questions everyday. Like every family in the world, all they want is the best for their loved ones.

My friends noticed that my dad lost weight. Well, it's noticeable because his tummy went away and he looked slimmer now compared from before. His doctor advised him to take weight loss supplements, like xenical to get rid of all those fats in the tummy. All in all, he lost 25 lbs. I love to take xenical but I just don't have the budget for that, so doing the natural way to loose weight. Jogging and exercise.

Internet has been a great help for everyone especially me. I used it for my research during my thesis days in college. Me and my thesis partner would get ideas online and since it's an engineering based idea, we depend mostly on web directory. It greatly help me because I was not very familiar with the terms before, and I finished the book easily because of it. Life is so much easier with Internet available.

I noticed that hubby is getting bigger and bigger each day. So I asked him to watch what he's eating and exercise more. But sometimes he would tell me that he wants to give up. I know that feeling also. I remembered I tried the diet pill that works for a month. I almost gave up there, but I never did get those frustration get over me. So here I am still loosing weight in the process.

There are a lot of acne remedies in the market that promises fair and flawless skin. I for one, dream of getting the best treatment. The most effective cream to remove acne scars is the one I have now. I got it from my last visit to the dermatologist. At first I thought it's not doing anything on my skin up until I noticed scars are beginning to get lighter. I hope this will help erase those acne scars.

The hubby is telling me about this cellphone that he's interested in. He really wanted the cellphone with a built-in express music. I know it's the old model but I'm sure the price is not that expensive now. I'm thinking of getting the cell phone booster because there comes a time that we cannot get a good signal from a certain location. But I'm okay with my cellphone now. What I want now is a brand new iTouch.
