Band life

It was my dad's friend's birthday last night and I was not able to attend because I had to go to work. He told me that some of his friends were looking for me hahaha! Yes, I know some of them because we had jam sessions a couple of years back. And how I miss those jam sessions with the gang. Setting up band equipments, tuning guitars, dinner before the gig and the fun part is the after gig sessions. Pack-up moments--drums, amps, speaker stands etc. I'm so missing my band life.

So Undercover

We plan to watch SO UNDERCOVER later tonight at Cinema Shangrila. I haven't watched a chick flick movie for awhile and I know this is good one because of my favorite--Miley Cyrus. Me and kiddo so like her on Hanna Montana and her songs too. The kiddo can't stop listening to Party in the USA. As in, we have to repeat that same song over and over again for her hahaha. So it's a date night with the hubby tonight. Don't forget the popcorn and soda!

Acknowledge on cigar

I am proud to say that I quit smoking for almost 4 years now. I am still clean and I haven't held one stick since the day I promised myself not to. I'm still sticking up to my word and plan to stay healthy for the rest of my years. But incidentally, I found myself reading at cigar blog. I am still decided to remain cigar free and but the articles there are quite interesting. I found out how they review a certain cigar, how it's made, the quality and so forth. Thanks Cigar blog for the knowledge.

The Great and Powerful OZ

The Great and Powerful OZ is a pre-sequel to the movies Wizard of OZ and Return to Oz. I've been a fan of both movies because me and my sisters would used to watch it during Saturday nights with a bucket of popcorn and coke. Hubby and I watched it the other day and oh boy! It's really a great one especially if you have a kid with you. The movie is so colorful hahaha. I'm so loving Mila Kunis! Her face and the make-up too! Now I know why she turned from good to bad witch as well. I heard they will make another OZ movie due to the success of this one. I hope Mila Kunis will be included again.

Summer class

Summer is finally setting in and already scouting summer classes for the little kiddo. I remembered when the kiddo took violin lesson one summer. She really can catch up with the teacher. Unfortunately, we had to stop due to lack of financial funds. I'm thinking, what if the kiddo had a chance to continue the lesson, she might be holding a kick-ass violin or a Double Bass at WWBW now. Anyway, since she's older now, she asked my if she can do ballet this time. I agreed if she'd also take reading summer class as well.

Hopes up!

I'm doing some job hunting for me and the hubby online. I never imagined how much job applications I sent out for the last two weeks, but still no avail. But I'm still hopeful. I can't give up now. I'm always praying for a better life for me and my family. I wanted to help others too, but it should start with me. 2013 is still a long way to go and I know there's something for us this year. God has something for us, I can feel it. Hopes up!

Blessed

Apart from Evee's arrival this week, another good news again. My sister finally resigned from her current job and got a new one (better one). We are all so happy for her. She's pretty much very excited about her new employer because a lot bigger company, which means more projects and opportunities. I heard the facilities are elegant and stylish, plus the design online tools is a kick-ass. It's indeed a happy and blessed week for the family.

Me Time

I'm dying to get a pedicure! My feet hurts so bad =(

My last visit to the salon was before the kiddo's 7th birthday and that was more than a month ago hahaha! I have work during weekends for this month and I can't wait until my rest day so I can do some pamperin' lovin' fot myself. "Me time" is important. Everyone should spend quality with themselves to prevent a stressful life.

Evee's here

My sister finally gave birth to her 3rd child and it's another girl! And we call her "Evee". I haven't seen her personally but she looks amazing in the photo. I'm guessing she's still skinny and breastfeeding. Can't wait to meet her next week. New baby means a blessing again and that we need to celebrate. So probably my sister will set Evee's baptismal celebration next month. Party, food, family gatherings again. Will suggest to my sister that I'll make the cupcake souvenirs and some personalized acrylic tumblers for the Ninongs and Ninangs (godmother and godfather). I'm sure it's gonna be a blast!

Vacation plans

Summer is fast approaching because I can feel the weather recently changed. No more late morning naps because it's already hot hehehe. I'm sure everybody has their summer plans booked because of the seat sales offered by the airlines all through out the year. So what's up for us this summer? Unfortunately, I don't have any. I was so busy and pr-occupied with lots of things lately. And I'm sure the kiddo would understand. But if I get a chance to go, I would definitely choose Boracay this year. One reason: because we haven't been there before. I know Boracay is over rated and all but why people still go there right? And besides, I wanted to experience that famous white beach first hand. And if we get a chance to go, I'll would definitely bring with me a ray ban 3293! 

Lappy check-up

I wanted to take blogging to the next level. I miss writing and posting, writing and posting, writing and posting pictures. I even have a scratch paper handy so I would now what to write about on my next post. I suggest that we get a new laptop but the hubby insist that we get the lappy checked first. We'll probably bring the lappy next week if we have time. I hope it's not that expensive though because I'm on a very tight budget. Anyway, we'll see...

More space!

Our LED TV is currently mounted on the wall because that was the original plan. To minimize cabinets/stands to maximize the space in our room. We recently bought a bed frame and a sofa bed and our room really looks good now. Then recently, the hubby is planning to get flat panel stands for the TV. I denied the idea because it's gonna be another installation but when he explained that I'll have a space on top, I finally agreed. Now the LED TV looks even nicer. Plus I have more space on top!

Dreaming

Every since we sold our ragged old car, I've been dreaming to get a new one. When you had an old car for years, any newer car brand would do, so I don't have any specific brand or model. I just want a newer model with less hassle. I'm scouting for model and prices already and the budget is sad to say, not in-line with it. So we're hoping when the hubby gets a job overseas, we can buy a new car complete with coats machine even. Talk about day dreaming but dreams are free right. Hope to see this dream a reality.

You've thought so much more these past 7 years. I learned to appreciate everything in life and I know I'm still learning from you. You've given me so much more and everyday is always a blessing with you. I thank the Lord everyday because of you. We're always counting the days and years, but for me I wanted the time to stop. Another year has past and I must say, I'm ready for more. More years to a lifetime with you. And this lifetime to our next life. I love you my baby kiddo. Happy 7th Birthday!

Future medicine

My principle in life changed when my family came and I know it's everybody's main concern too. "Health is wealth". I've read so many stories online about sad endings and so I've started a project. To research more effective ways to a happier and a healthier living. And so I came across this revolutionary medicine that can trigger the body’s natural system of healing--boiron. Still need to make some more research but it's promising new medicine that I know can saves lives in the future.
