Hopes up!

I'm doing some job hunting for me and the hubby online. I never imagined how much job applications I sent out for the last two weeks, but still no avail. But I'm still hopeful. I can't give up now. I'm always praying for a better life for me and my family. I wanted to help others too, but it should start with me. 2013 is still a long way to go and I know there's something for us this year. God has something for us, I can feel it. Hopes up!

Lappy check-up

I wanted to take blogging to the next level. I miss writing and posting, writing and posting, writing and posting pictures. I even have a scratch paper handy so I would now what to write about on my next post. I suggest that we get a new laptop but the hubby insist that we get the lappy checked first. We'll probably bring the lappy next week if we have time. I hope it's not that expensive though because I'm on a very tight budget. Anyway, we'll see...

FALLEN and BLUE BLOOD

Can you believe I finished two books in a week? Yup! Just finished the second one last night and I'm sad why I did not read it before but I guess I'm thankful I had the time lately. Well honestly, our cable TV is out that's why hahaha. Anyway, both books are really a page turner. I'm looking forward on purchasing the next chapter of the series. Sunshine at last! But I cannot celebrate yet because I just found out that another storm is heading this way. QUIEL. And according to the news, it's getting stronger and ETA would be this weekend. I hope God would spread his ways in the sky and wipe the storm away.... I hope.

What's happening?

I saw on Facebook than an earthquake was felt last night. Well, I was up all night because I was at work and I did not feel anything. Anyway, it was confirmed that an earthquake did happen last night but it's somewhere in the province. Then I read in the news volcanos are about to erupt. I wonder what's happening in the world today......

Judgement day

May 21, 2011 --- called the judgement day by a group of people in the US, who they say can predict the end of the world. Everybody was alarmed. Even I had second thoughts in my mind, that what if it was the end, what would we do? It's now May 22 and we're still alive. I guess no one can really predict the end of the world. Only GOD knows. Let's just pray for the safety of everybody.

Galstone

I just had a surgery last night and had my galstone removed. All I know is that my tummy was aching soo bad that we went to the hospital and the next thing I know, I was being admitted and scheduled for surgery. The operation was quite an experience that I will never forget and Thank God it's over and I'm alive and well. I'm still trying to cope with the pain and I'm trying to ready my mind and body for the pain in the few days and weeks. But I don't want to bury myself on misery and I promise myself that I'll do whatever it takes to get better and be a better person again.

Tikoy time!

It's Chinese New Year and we're craving for tikoy, so I asked my dad if he can buy some for us. Eng Bee Tin makes the best tikoy... and hopia monggo too! So I'll pick up the goods later after work. Yeah it's tikoy time!

Ready to rock!

I freakin' miss playing with my band. Technically, we are on vacation leave hehehe because Joey (drummer) is on vacation and after one week delay he's finally coming home tomorrow. Can't wait to play again... I'm so ready to rock!

BORED

I have anything but watch tv and facebook for the last 4 days. Days of bum is starting to bore me to death. I haven't done anything productive in the house. I feel locked up inside the apartment but naturally I'm not. I have the option to go out but I don't and I dunno why. It's like I'm waiting for something... Anyway, work will start next week and since we're starting over again, we'll be on night shift again. Hopefully I'll still have the time for the band because I'm with a new department again, so I'm in the adjusting period (again). I wish I can do what I really really love and make money out of it. So do I really love to do? Cook and play Music.

Real update

Hubby and I took the day off today and did some delayed errands. And we finally brought the digicam to the service center. I hope they'll fix soon. I also plan to get a new player for me and the hubby. It's kinda pricey, but let's see.

Real update

Been busy managing my time for work and at home. Not to mention the weekend meet ups with friends. I had a great time last weekend. Met with good oldies friends and gimik last Saturday night. I'm still not finish upload the pictures and the videos! Argh. Need more time. Anyway, MMA will have band rehearsal tomorrow. Need to recall and finalize the remaining songs we need to record to complete the demo. We also plan to do photo shoot this weekend with my sister. Really need the band's profile ASAP by next week. That's all for now

School stuff

I just got home and I still have online tasks to finish. But I figured I need to go to sleep now because I need to help the kiddo with her homework. They also have this mother earth parade on Tuesday, so I filed a vacation leave earlier in the office because I know nobody will accompany her tsk tsk! How I wish I could manage my own time because I'm always in a hurry. Maybe I need a miracle.

thoughts in the wee hours

I embraced the thought that the little kiddo is growing up -- fast. Despite my super busy schedule at work, personal life and music, I'm still trying very hard to keep up with her. I want to lead her to the right direction in life and provide as much as I can. I pray for guidance especially during down times. But I know I can do it.

A week went by

Holy week passed just like that for me because, again, we had no house help. Good thing we can depend on my SIL. Little angel spend the holy week there while I did errands in the house, plus office time during night time. It's hard but that's life. Now we're back home and waiting for our new house help. Hope everything turns out okay this time because I got so many things to do.

Leaving for Hong Kong

Everything is finally ready. Bags are packed, scheduled is set, IT is accomplished, accommodation is booked, plane tickets and documents are ready. Me and the super friends will be leaving tomorrow for an eight-day vacation in Hong Kong. This is the most anticipated trip of the year because we planned and booked this flight late last year. I know I'll be missing my little angel but I'll be back soon. So this might be the last update for this week and I'll be back with tons of stories and loads of pictures! See yah!
