Frozen Grand Central

My sister gave me this link few days ago and I watched it just now. It's kinda cool to do an act like that at the most busiest place. More details *here*

Not me now

Yeah, I'm not my usual self these past few days. I had a tiring week. Meaning skipping meals, zero exercise and only had a few hours of sleep. No I'm not killing myself. I was just busy. I hope I can catch on what I've missed and remind myself to stay focus.

online casino

Every now and then, I wanted to try something new on the Internet. Since we all know, the Internet has played a big part of our daily lives. We can do research for our school activity, meet people, search missing friends, chat with relatives abroad, send e-cards, online shopping, marketing strategies for business owners, and a lot lot more. Everybody knows I am not a gaming person. Ever since I was a kid, I never liked playing computer games. Unlike my other siblings, they can spend countless hours in front of the gaming console. But I'm not like that and I don't know why. And lately, my husband and I had been hooked up to simple computer games. And now, another friend introduced us to online casino and we've hooked up ever since. We could play online casino anytime and anywhere without the hassle of leaving the comfort of our home.

blog advertising

More and more people are findings ways to earn. Taking two jobs or sometimes putting up a small family business which is on top of the 9 hour work in the office. I know it's stressful but anything for our kid's future right? My sister proposed that we put up a small business of our own and I think it's a great idea. But warned her that I cannot spend my 100% time since I am still working and have a little toddler to attend to. I'm glad that she's still interested in putting up that business and we are all here to support her. And as for me, I found a better way to earn without leaving the comfort of our home. My friend introduced me to blog blog advertising. It's easy! Services through smorty connects advertisers and bloggers for advertising online. Bloggers can write a review about the advertisers products and pay will be on it's way to your paypal. It's that easy. I recommend this to all bloggers who wants to earn that extra cash on the side.

~ She's a lefty, right? ~

My blog friend Teacher *Tien* advised me to let the little angel express herself using a water-based paint and a paper. She explained that it's much better than holding a pen. Couple of days ago, I let the little angel do the works. She was so happy and excited about the idea. And I don't mind the mess, as long as she's enjoying.

Farewell

I got out of the office at 5AM and the hubby and I went straight to Arlington to visit Tien for the last time. The place was peaceful. It's not too crowded compared from our first visit. Ervin (her special friend) and I were able to talked about so many things. We'd catch up stories from our high school lives to the present. He even told me stories about Tien when she was alive. It's like our conversation will never end. I wanted to stay longer but unfortunately we need to go home. So I bid Tien my last goodbye. My heart was light when we left because I know and felt that she was there even though I can't see her.

Her remains was cremated in Eternal Gardens at 9AM.

I remembered her email when we lost our grandfather last year, she said that *quote* will make losing someone easier. And now I'm reading it again...

*When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy.
When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.*

Farewell Ms. Sunshine... May you find eternal life in heaven.

You will be remembered forever

I was worried to death upon reading this post from Cynch's blog last Friday night. I opened *her* blog that night hoping to get good news but around late at night, all I got was thank yous and goodbyes. Then I began to worry...

I came to *Tien* through my HS friend, Cynch. I voluntarily emailed her couple of years back saying that I really admire her so much and she happily acknowledged it with pure heart. Then I was an avid reader ever since. Everyday I would check her site hoping to see the world through her--exploring new places, fun post and especially breath-taking pictures are my favorite. We would exchange emails and leave offline messages. She was even there to comfort me when I lost my grandfather and my Fender bass. She would even give advise on how to take care of the little angel. She always made me see the brighter side of life.

Couple of months ago, I conducted a name game contest for this blog. I received a handful of entries online and an offline message from her. She gave me a couple of entries which she said, that's how she sees my blog. It's like she's listening daw--JustLizzen.I instantly liked her idea which made her the winner. The prize was not much (it's only $10) and I was thinking how to give it to her. I thought, maybe that was the perfect way to meet her. But she said, to just buy the little angel a nice bikini or something for the summer and I would email her the pictures. That made my heart melt. Teacher Tien talaga... anything for the kids.

Her latest travels was in Batanes. I never knew Batanes was so beautiful. I was checking her site constantly just to get updates but to no avail, I didn't see any post in the couple of days and then there's Cynch's post.

I got a text message from Cynch Saturday morning which moved to me to tears. My heart was aching, my body was numb and my head was spinning around. "Tien passed away last night. Let's pray for her." WHY?? Why her?! She's young, pretty and there's so many things she could do.

~ I will miss that cheerful smile ~

I really really wanted to meet her in person. And I never thought of meeting her that way. My knees were shaking her when I saw her at Arlington that Saturday night. I was too late. I didn't had that chance to meet her, see her beautiful smile. But I know I'm lucky to just simply know her. I know how many soul she'd touched and inspired, simply by being herself.

~ You will be remembered forever. ~

*Tien, I know you're in a better place now and looking down on us. My prayers to you and your family. You're soul will be remembered forever. Now, you can travel the world.*

8 Random Things about the Little Angel

~ Little Angel's 8 Random Things ~

1. Born on January 17, 2006--7:56AM at the new Medical City, Pasig City via normal painless delivery.
2. Breastfed her for only 2 weeks because I don't have the patience back then. Unfortunately, it's one of my regrets as a mom.

3. Eats only bread, biscuits, fruits and yogurt during her first year and recently started eating rice.4. Potty-trained when she reached 2 years old. We are very proud of her.

5. Likes to play her toys very much--like the doll house, her baby doll, ball or balloon, ride the Vroom-Vroom, stack piles of Legos or imagine things using the Legos and most especially read books. And she definitely loves Swimming too!

6. She can count name the parts of the body, name animals and fruits, imitate animal sounds and count from 1 to 10.

7. Kikay. She loves to wear dresses and refuses to cut her hair. She would stay still when it's time to fix her hair and would admire her dress/hair in front of the mirror.

8. She's Independent. She loves to do things on her own, like wear the jacket, put socks and shoes and more.

Happy again

Although I was not able to see the little angel the whole, I am still happy. A part of me was satisfied because I was able to bond with two of my friends this afternoon. We held our first band practice at my parents house because the instruments was there. I'm so happy that Aimz finally Lowie. Unfortunately, my sister J was not able to join us because of unavoidable circumstances. But we are all satisfied and obviously looking forward until our next jam session. Hopefully, my sister could join us too. It's good to be playing again.

ChubbyLisa

We welcomed a new zitros member last November 8, 2007 and she's Wilisa Aiverine, my niece. And look at her now! She's all grown up and chubby. That's why we call her ChubbyLisa haha! She's so cute with her rosey chicks. The little angel and her cousin Amandine (Willisa's sister) can't wait for her to grow up. But for now, they love to cuddle in bed with her.

At last

Yes at last the little angel is eating rice thank goodness. We were starting to get worried for the last couple months because toddlers I know are now consuming more solid foods. We regularly eat dinner with the little angel but she would just play with her food. Last week, the hubby got angry that made the little angel opened her mouth and had a spoonful. She finished her plate and I'm so proud of her. She didn't cry or anything. She was pleased because we praised her for her good doing. At 2 years old, she's potty trained and eating a lot. Next project, teach her to speak fluently. I love being a mom.

Feeling a little down

Yes, I'm feeling a little down today because the computer at home is super slow now. I can't even post a picture on blogger that's why I don't have any entry for the weekend snapshot. Now I'm thinking of the wordless wednesday haayyy. I'll be getting my sister's external Western Digital HD this coming weekend so hopefully it'll work faster after I transfer my files. If not, I'm thinking of getting the spare computer at my parents house and bring it to Bulacan because purchasing a new laptop is still out of the budget. But I'm thinking the WD HD might do the trick. Let's wait.

Passport

My sister told me that they spend almost an hour in the photo studio just to have Amandine's picture taken for her passport. She told me that they already did everything but the Amandine would just not look at the camera. I scanned the closet and good thing the little angel had one dress with collar. I topped it with a jacket because the dress is sleeveless and it turn out to be okay. The hubby and I were expecting to spend also 45 minutes in the photo studio but fortunately, just two shots and we were done! Good girl. But now I thought, I don't have any funny story to tell hehe.
