Project collaboration

If I could give myself a present this Christmas, it would be a kick-ass MAC BOOK PRO or an iMac. I know it's free to day dream but I'm hoping that dream would be a realty someday. I wanna get a new gear but not to brag but because I need it for personal use, like blogging. It's been obvious that I take blogging seriously and a crappy laptop just won't get me further. Just like last week, I got an email from a friend in Australia. He is a Dj/Arranger and he asked me to work on some bass line from his current mixes. I was super flattered! But given the gear that I have, it wouldn't be possible. I politely replied to my friend and he gratefully acknowledged. I'm keeping my hopes high (very high) and even positive about it. If that time comes, I would probably spend an entire week working on the things that I missed. So what's in store for me with this awesome gear? Up to date OS, cool and useful apps like Cubase with cubase 6 upgrade to work on my bass lines.

I'm waiting for sale announcements on all major music stores here in the country because I wanna get a good deal on some of the acoustic guitars that I have in mind. And maybe grab one of those excellent rane mixers while supplies last. Sale Sale Sale here we come.

Baking class

I attended Beginner Fondant Cake at Heny Sison last Thursday and it was lots of fun. If only I can take all of the class or maybe enroll to Culinary School, I'd do it. But of now, this will do.

My first fondant cake....

Gift idea orders

Baseball is rarely played here in the country because the national sport is Basketball and people are really into it. But despite the popularity, I know there are still a number of schools in the metro that makes it a Saturday sport especially in the South. And when your into the gift shop business, even though you are not into sports (like me), one must get to know, familiar to meet the demands and get more clients. I remembered a story from a friend that makes gift ideas and had the same experience. Now he's very much familiar with the sport and getting a lot of baseball coach gift ideas orders.

Fast Facts

Beethoven was the first composer who never had an official court position, thus the first known freelance musician. Born in 1770, he grew up poor, but published his first work at age 12. By age 20 he was famous. He often sold the same score to six or seven different publishers simultaneously, and demanded unreasonably large fees for the simplest work. He was short, stocky, dressed badly, didn’t like to bath, lived in squalor, used crude language, openly conducted affairs with married women, and had syphilis. Beethoven was deaf when he composed his Ninth Symphony.

Work-out chats

Hubby and I are planning to join a marathon this coming November and we're both very excited about it because it's one of our goals before the end of the year. We plan to run at least 30 mins a day and I'm still thinking what would be the best time for me because I work night shifts. Sometimes I feel I want to try another exercise routine. I heard yoga is very effective, plus it's more peaceful hahaha. But probably I'll be needing a yoga blocks once I attend sessions. Another is pole dancing. This is quite interesting for me but weighing the odds, pole dancing is probably not me. I'm too heavy! hahaha!
