A DSLR Canon camera is what my sister bought few months back. DSLR cameras is way too pricey that a regular digital camera. But the shots are way better of course. It's like using a film SLR camera but it's digital. I never knew how to use one of them and I never would have imagine myself using or owning one because of the price at features. It kind of gave me the impression that it's very hard to use. I still plan to get one though, not now but maybe in a few months.

reunion

We had a family reunion here in the house yesterday because my MIL came home and everyone was here to see her. Since my MIL is known of her delicious cooking, everyone requested their favorites. We had so many food prepared yesterday. And the one I love is the leche flan. Well, who could ever resist a yummy, milky, creamy and sweet flan right? Now I think I really need to buy weight loss pills because I'm getting heavier everyday

Still here

I know I've been neglecting this blog for a couple of weeks now. I've been soo busy lately because my MIL is with us and we're spending more time with her. That's means less hours of sleep for me and practically no blogging time. But I'm enjoying our bonding time in the house and the little angel is thrilled to be with her. We are also busy at home because we had our bathroom renovated and next week would be the kitchen. So I expect more dust in the house. We also have plans for out of town trip in two weeks time and we are very excited about it. I'm doing my best to manage my time and I promised myself to post an update everyday. I'm trying...

Feeling sexy

I started to be picky with my lingerie when I was in my late teens. I never thought that I was satisfied with what they called grandma undies until I had close girl friends who influenced me to try something sexy under my clothes. It's not bad to feel sexy underneath as long as I have decent clothes to put on. I remembered, I would buy all black lingerie because it complements my skin and the skinny racer back blouse which I love. Most of my clothes before were tight and fit because I was way slimmer before. I gained a lot of weight during my pregnancy year and starting to drop weight again 3 years after. I know I'm not that skinny anymore but I'm loving my body now than before. Now my mother in law never forgets to give me sexy lingerie that I now love and I believe everyone should feel sexy once in awhile.

More gigs

Marry Me Amy had the first gig last Friday at my sister's boss' Thanksgiving party at the Philippine Army Officer's Clubhouse. We did a couple of intermission songs with my sister on drums. We wished we could play our originals but our drummer was still in Davao at that time. But I know we'll have more gigs this 2009. See picture *here*

My own office

My sister mentioned that they'll going to re-decorate their office. Which makes me think, what if I have my own business and have a small office to run. It would a blast if I could run a business and manage my own time. No more boss' approval and all the stuff. Which makes what would my office looks like. Of course, I need office furniture but I would make more look like a home.

Wordless Wednesday

~ This is what we had last New Year's eve. I know it's not much but at least we had something on the table. But for me, this is too much food because there's only three of us adults here and a child who doesn't eat too much. And I don't want to bother prepare more since our house help is out for vacation. I welcomed the year 2009 with a Beef n' nachos cheese plate and a couple of shots of Bailey's. ~

what's up?

My other sister finally left for UAE this morning. I send her a text message telling her I'll be missing her again. I was able to say goodbye to her last Sunday though. I'm not going sentimental here... I know I'll be seeing her again in 12 months time and hopefully I could give her a Marry Me Amy album at that time. Anyway... here's what happening and what I've been doing these past few days...

Decisions are hard to make. I usually take extra pre-cautions before I jump into conclusion or even execute my choice. So if I have a big decision to make, I'd make sure I exhausted all options that I could think of. I'd make sure that I researched or surveyed at least just to make sure. One thing I learned through this experience is by joining online forums. These forums were actually built by consumers and buyers like us. That's why when my sister asked about the insurance she was interested on, I advised her to check insurance forums online to address all her issues and concerns.

Healthier this year

I'm starting to plan and take notes of the things I what to do and need to accomplish before this year ends. I know it's way to early but I really want to finish a whole this year and I intend to do it well. Starting off, I want to be fit. Exercise and eating right is the first priority. I know I'm not getting any younger, so taking care of myself is my goal. I've read somewhere on the Internet that Pomegranate trees bears the oldest fruit and cultivated. Reviews stated that this gives a high concentrations of antioxidants which are believed to prevent or cure cancer.

insurance

A new day and a new year has come and everybody's feeling that this year will bring luck because of the number nine--lucky nine. Even if there's such a thing, I think the most important is to be safe always. Since my little angel is growing very fast, it is a fact that we are going to travel more. And it's more convenient to travel with out own car rather than commute. That's why the husband inquired on auto insurance quotes just in case we'll get car, might as well have it insured just to be sure.
