Prodigy

Me and the little kiddo is hooked with watching youtube videos lately. We've been watching videos from cute and funny babies to animals and some amazing stuff. You'd be surprise what people to do to get on their free time and even have the time to record and upload it online. Anyway, it's been pretty entertaining I must say. What amazes me even more is that there are a lot, I'd say A LOT of talented musicians out there, and there are pretty young too! Makes you wanna think that your kid could be the next child prodigy right?. Oh well if that happened to us, we would be like so thrilled. And as a parent, I would definitely support her/him by providing music instrument--from tuning hammer to piano/guitar/violin and exposure to extensive lessons. As a musician myself, it'll be pretty exciting. For now, we'll be watching youtube videos the little kiddo and hopefully baby lj would be a musician like her mom and ate.

Happy Halloween!

We had our yearly Halloween party here in the Village this afternoon. And this year, we are MALEFICENT. We bought this costume last year at Walmart, from our US trip and good thing it still fits!

The kiddo won the MOST ORIGINAL costume.

The Star-Spangled Banner became the US national anthem in 1931. Prior to that, it was My Country ‘Tis of Thee,” which had the same melody as Britian’s national anthem God Save the Queen, which is based on music written by John Bull in 1619. Bull’s melody has been used more than any song in national anthems.
