Help Others

I may not be perfect, but I am everyday grateful to HIM—for I can see, I can move, I can hear, I can feel, I can walk… and basically can do what a normal person would do. That’s why I never stopped caring for others. If I were in the shoes of a wealthy person, I would definitely do whatever I can to help others. That’s why I’m impressed to those celebrities who would give food, donate clothes, food, supplies like wheel chair, hearing aid batteries, medicines etc. But wealthy or not, we can still do our part in helping others. Start now.

Business option

Our family goal is to try our luck abroad but we are still thinking of putting up a business while we're still here. We thought custom design t-shirts as a business option. I know there's a lot to learn, and I believe with the right time and dedication, we can pull this off. Especially now, we have increase demand on custom design products and this is a good start. We can always start small and will eventually hit it big once we get recognize. Let's see.

Ride

Hubby started his biking hobby and everyday he's excited to go out and ride. I'm pretty much happy because he really needs to trim down his weight. He swapped his old mountain bike with a good racer and he's pretty much happy with it. He made a DIY bike storage by setting-up this hook, with cables and a gear puller. It's a nice way to keep the bike and out of the way, especially in our house, which is crowded with things. I hope it doesn't rain in the next few days so he can enjoy the ride.

Just got the invites and we're all excited about this coming Saturday's event. It's the kiddo's family day in school. Everybody's going to bring food, play games and win prizes. Then we'll go to this Sports themed first birthday party in the afternoon. I plan to purchase a simple gift and basketball gift ideas would be suitable. It's 3 days to go...

Creative and practical

Tired to giving the same gifts every year? a Tie, pair of socks? This year I plan to be creative and practical. Just recently, I started giving away presents made from my our hands. And what's the best to it but in the kitchen right? We appreciate every little thought and hard work, and now it's time to pay it forward. One awesome example is shari's berries. They are simple, strikingly presentable and delicious. I mean, who would not want them right? Can't wait to make a batch at my hubby's birthday. He'll be thrilled, I know it.

Life's a beach

Apart from watching movies and surfing the Internet, traveling is also in my list. Going to different places and witnessing the world is by far by ultimate dream. Lucky are those who have the luxury.  We recently went to Magalawa Island and it was a great experience. The beach was super nice! Getting there was a pain in the butt because of the 5 hour drive. You'll definitely need neck pillows especially if you fall asleep easily. We brought packed snacks, in case anyone gets hungry. I remembered when we took a dip in the salty water, it was totally relaxing. I think I was stay there for a week if I can hahaha. Nothing but water and fresh sea foods. Life's a beach.

4th of July

Happy 4th of July!

Those were the days.

I miss traveling. When I was young, I used to travel a lot especially with family, friends and band mates. I remembered when we had this out of town gig (Laguna I think), we took the bus going to Laguna with our things and gear in tow. It was quite an experience for me because we rode an ordinary bus (without A/C) and it was hell fast in the free-way. I saw several trailer trucks in the middle of the high-way trying to out run each other. If it wasn't for tie down straps, their load would have fallen in the road. Anyway, we made it safely to our destination and back, and it was fun fun night of music and beer. Those were the days.
